Program Description:
First, this webinar focuses on the reasons why valuation analysts may be called to value businesses, securities, and/or intangible assets within a bankruptcy environment. In particular, this webinar describes the different types of opinions (e.g., fair market valuations, fair value valuations, reasonably equivalent value, and solvency or insolvency) that analysts may be asked to prepare. Second, this webinar explains and illustrates the bankruptcy analytical procedures (e.g., normalization adjustments, company-specific risk considerations, highest and best use considerations) that impact the application of the generally accepted valuation approaches and methods. Third, this webinar describes the analyst’s due diligence procedures within the bankruptcy context. Finally, this webinar presents the valuation analyst written and oral report guidelines within a bankruptcy litigation environment.
