Program Description
Medical practice valuation has always been complex. With the passing of the Affordable Care Act; the 10th update to the International Statistical Classification of Diseases and Related Health Problems; the enforcement of the Stark Laws; and anti-kickback statutes, it now presents increased challenges. This course will present an overview of the healthcare economy, a discussion of the impact of buy/sell agreements, goodwill and the double dip on valuation, and the forensic procedures necessary to complete these valuations.
