Program Description

This webinar will examine ways to grow and protect your business valuation practice through the use of a well-written curriculum vitae (CV) and engagement contracts (i.e., engagement letters). Through the use of first-rate examples, this session will illustrate how to convey and highlight one’s education and competence in a CV and offer recommendations as to how to tailor one’s CV to a particular engagement in the proposal process. Examples will also be used to illustrate the language the valuation analyst should include in engagement contracts to define the terms of a valuation/calculation engagement with the client and, specifically, the duties and responsibilities of both parties, all in a clear and concise manner.

Learning Objectives

After completing this webinar, attendees will be able to:

- Articulate their competence in the performance of valuation/calculation engagements through a well-constructed CV
- Use clear and concise language in engagement contracts (i.e., engagement letters) as a means of risk management in their valuation/calculation engagements
- Restate their CVs in the proposal process, based on the nature of the engagement
