Program Description:
Have you ever read an opposing expert’s rebuttal of your expert report that left you clutching your pearls the rest of the day? With over 3,000 cases under my belt, I have had some true works of fiction written about me and still can be found clutching my proverbial pearls from time to time. This course will provide real life examples of rebuttal techniques commonly used by hired gun expert witnesses, and discusses how to quell the no good, naysaying, disingenuous opposing hired gun expert witness.
After completing this course, you will be able to:
- Determine a clear framework for responding to rebuttal reports
- Recognize strategies for maintaining composure and credibility under scrutiny
- Identify and counter common disingenuous rebuttal tactics
- Apply the principles of unimpeachable neutrality in your expert work
- Determine how to incorporate artificial intelligence responsibly in forensic and valuation work
- Recognize ways to enhance professional resilience and long-term reputation
