Program Description
Cases that reflect changes and trends in family law in the United States will be summarized. Attendees will gain familiarity with the new legal standards that change the way financial professional counsel families today. The webinar includes, and goes beyond, the impact of the Defense of Marriage Act (DoMA) to address developments and anticipated changes in the laws surrounding financial issues which concern economic advisors of those in divorce or similar situations.

Amanda Trigg, JD Ms. Amanda S. Trigg is a fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers (AAML) and practices exclusively family law. Ms. Trigg is certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as a matrimonial law attorney and serves as an officer of both the New Jersey Chapter of the AAML and the Family Law Section of the New Jersey State Bar Association.
