This session will cover the current trends and issues in Business Divorce (Shareholder/LLC Member) disputes. Issues to be covered will include jurisdictional issues, standard of value, normalization adjustments and cash-flow streams, and valuation discounts for control and marketability. How to prepare and present conclusions in a concise and supportable format. Identify the strengths and weaknesses and common mistakes made by valuation practitioners in reports.
After completing this course, you will be able to:

- Recognize and explain the appropriate standard of value, cash-flow streams including when normalization adjustments are warranted along with appropriate valuation discounts based on statutory law and jurisdictional precedent.
