Program Description:
This session will touch on the practice of business valuation from A to Z in a semi-case study manner. It will challenge attendees to think and question approach, methodology, and beliefs. The session may be interactive, but will assuredly provide new details, resources, and applications to the process of business valuation. Session examples include a hidden party to the engagement, the nexus between the industry analysis and the economic analysis, proper asset approach, dissection and critical examination of the income approach, development of a credible direct market approach, and derivation of relevant and credible valuation discounts.
After completing this course, you will be able to:
- Differentiate the valuation engagement by approaching it with a new perspective, enhanced tools and resources, and greater confidence
- Identify how to set practice apart from the crowd and competition while sustaining their current valuation practice
