Program Description:
Although introduced to the business valuation profession circa 2012, IPCPL (Implied Private Company Pricing Line) remains widely unknown, misunderstood, and unused. This course provides a comprehensive discussion and analysis of IPCPL theory, evidence, and application at a level providing valuation practitioners a clear path to understanding and using IPCPL in practice.
After completing this course, you will be able to:
- Identify the valuation problem that IPCPL solves and why it is important to privately-held enterprise valuation
- Differentiate between IPCPL and alternative, inferior methods and why such methods are still in widespread use
- Recognize the basic idea of IPCPL theory and method, and how to apply it in practice
