Program Description:
Analysts often overlook the importance of the industry and economic overviews in valuation reports. These sections are sometimes treated as data dumps just to fulfill the obligation of RR 59-60 and valuation report standards. However, they are actually important information tools for both the analyst and the client. Unfortunately, these sections can be booby traps for unprepared expert witnesses when on the stand.
After completing this course, you will be able to:
- Identify why these sections of the report are important and how NOT to get side-swiped by opposing counsel
- Determine how to write the sections in a concise and useable manner
- Determine the IO & EO sections to the subject company
- Identify key points from the IO & EO sections into the other parts of your report
