Program Description:
“What gets measured gets managed.” We’ve all heard this. We all know this. Yet, based on my experience, BV practitioners don’t follow the advice they give to the owners of the businesses they value – which is to create/track performance metrics.
You can’t improve your practice’s efficiency if you don’t know where the inefficiencies are!
And if you only track Key Performance INDICATORS (and not Key Performance ACTIVITIES as well), you’ll only see the results you got. But you won’t know why you got the results you did versus the results you wanted!
This presentation will be discussed in the format of: WHY it is important, WHAT you need to know, and HOW to do it. As a result, you’ll see that you are only a few short practice management steps away from dramatically improving your firm’s profitability at whatever level you’re starting at.
After completing this course, you will be able to:
- Differentiate between Key Performance Activities and Key Performance Indicators
- Identify the best metrics to monitor for their practices
- Identify and learn a “traffic light system” for troubleshooting their metrics
