Program Description:
The quality and effectiveness of an organization's ethics ecosystem largely determines its level of fraud risk. The panelists will explain the linkage between ethics and fraud risk, a process requiring recurring vigilance, integration into performance plans, and adequate staffing resources.
After completing this course, you will be able to:
- Identify the indicia and signs of a weak ethical ecosystem overall and the ethical culture within an organization
- Determine the trustworthiness of an organization's ethics program and bring fresh, multi-disciplinary perspectives to their analyses
- Recognize the signals of complacency or duplicity--the natural tendency to present the best possible face to others based on false assumptions or active manipulation
- Identify the ethical climate as part of their forensic accounting and valuation assignments and responsibilities
