Program Description:
The Chairman and the Vice-Chair of the NACVA Standards Board ("SDB") will discuss past and ongoing initiatives. A few of the SDB's key initiatives include: the Standards Comparison Chart (comparative valuation standards analysis across national and international valuation professional organizations), Frequently Asked Questions ("FAQ's") hotline and corresponding published FAQ list, and NACVA's involvement and adoption status of the International Business Valuation Glossary and MORE! The SDB is excited to share the action items in our pipeline and hear from members regarding what they would like to see added. They are here for the NACVA members and are looking forward to seeing everyone at the upcoming conference.
After completing this course, you will be able to:
- Identify NACVA and peer group standards and the comparison between them
- Recognize and demonstrate an understanding of the application and use of the International Business Valuation Glossary
- Identify the different ways in which NACVA members can get questions, concerns, observations addressed across a large body of peers. Feeling lost? The Mentor Program at NACVA has successfully assisted numerous CVA's and MAFF's through situations in which guidance was needed
