Program Description:
In this session you will learn the ways in which internet and social media analytics can be used to accurately measure and quantify the spread, awareness, and impact of IP use and misuse. We will explore the overlap between internet and social media analysis and IP analysis, while providing case studies showing the use of the data as part of traditional valuation and damages analyses.
After completing this course, you will be able to:
- Identify the internet analytic tools available to use in both valuation and damage calculation projects
- Determine and explain why and how analytical tools were used in several case studies
- Determine how these tools can be quickly used to uncover relevant facts while talking to a potential client, from a business development perspective
