Program Description:
In this session, the presenter will use the three primary drivers of the integrated theory of business valuation to address a baker's dozen of issues faced by business appraisers every day. Expected cash flow, risk, and growth will be used to look at discount rate relationships, important public market relationships, and defining and understanding the levels of value.
After completing this course, you will be able to:
- Select and use the Integrated Theory of Business Valuation to improve analysis of discount rates and what they measure
- Recognize and employ public market multiples more effectively
- Identify the levels of value in terms of expected cash flow, risk, and growth, as well as, develop important valuation premiums and discounts in the same context
- Recognize and analyze the perennial question: What are the differences between (lack of) marketability and (il)liquidity?
