Program Description
This webinar will focus on Grantor Defective Trusts and the potential roles this sort of trust can play in the M&A context. The webinar will begin with a history of grantor trusts before beginning a survey of what grantor trusts are. We will then shift to an analytical look at how these trusts can be used, including the significant benefits such planning can bring in the field of transactions. Finally, we will evaluate how proposed changes to 2704 will impact this planning.
