Job Opportunity—First Quarter 2020
Position Title: CPE On-Demand Development Specialist.
Position Open: Employee or Contractor, prefer the latter.
Hours Required: Position is Full-Time.
Description of Work: Entails managing the process of getting NACVA and the CTI’s substantial library of hundreds of webinar presentations, currently found in what we call our CPE On-Demand library, uploaded to our Learning Management System (LMS) software. The work and process entails managing a team of 30+ subcontractors we’ve recruited. You will send them recordings of webinars/broadcasts, they in turn will view the recordings and subsequent materials, and develop questions and answers for both study and testing purposes, following guidelines established by the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA). Once the Q&As are received back, you will review and edit them. In addition to reviewing/editing the questions created, you will be responsible for editing each recording to remove clutter and distractions, add a beginning and ending sequence, and build the review questions into the presentation. You will then upload the final recording into the LMS and finish building it out by inserting the exam and other necessary components.
Other Technical Qualifications Include: Knowledge of MS PowerPoint and Excel required. Further knowledge of editing videos and/or working in an LMS a plus, especially with the software programs Articulate and Camtasia, although some training can be provided.
Education and Background: We are looking for someone with a business degree, finance, accounting, economics, are desirable. Some knowledge of business valuation, financial forensics, would be helpful, along with business content editing experience. Ability to pay attention to detail is important.
Time Frame: This project is estimated to take one year and the position most likely will remain permanent, but could be scaled back to part-time.
