Writing Opportunities with The Value Examiner

Dan Shiffrin, JD
Editor

The editorial staff of The Value Examiner (TVE) invites NACVA members to submit articles for consideration for publication. TVE is an independent, professional development journal dedicated to the exploration of value and its ramifications for consultants. It is the singular source of timely, technical, in-depth articles written by practitioners and academics at the top of their respective fields, and a 10-time winner of the prestigious APEX® Award for Publication Excellence.

Publishing an article in TVE is a great way to build your reputation as an authority in the field, demonstrate your expertise to colleagues and clients, and spark a dialogue on issues of critical importance to the profession. Plus, it allows you to earn CPE credits for your contribution; distribute reprints of your article to clients, prospects, and referral sources; and publish a PDF version of your article on your website or electronic newsletter.

We welcome timely, insightful articles on issues that affect:
  • The valuation of businesses, business interests, debt and equity securities, intellectual property, and other assets,
  • The quantification of lost profits and other economic damages,
  • Forensic accounting and fraud risk management services, and
  • Practice management and development for consulting services.
Feature articles on technical valuation and forensic accounting topics are subject to a double-blind peer review process, lending additional credibility to your contribution.

How to Submit an Article
To submit an article to TVE, visit https://www.nacva.com/tveauthors and click on the “Submit via Scholastica” button. Scholastica is a comprehensive academic and professional journal management platform that helps authors, editors, and reviewers efficiently track submissions, automate administrative tasks, and coordinate communications throughout the review process. Our Scholastica landing page includes a list of potential topics, as well as detailed editorial and submission guidelines.
