Association Governance: NACVA 2024-2025 Board Elections—Second Quarter 2024

Lynne JohnsonAssociation Governance: NACVA 2024–2025 Board Elections
Lynne Johnson
Executive Editor/Accreditation Manager, NACVA

Our Governance Board Election process is so integral to our organization. The Association faces many issues: keeping up with the industry, board development, robust leadership, member growth, and more. The individuals who serve on our boards allow us to collectively pivot to the future, look out for the wellbeing of our organization as a whole, better engage members, connect with our leadership, provide networking opportunities, positively shape the face of NACVA to members and non-members alike, and provide lasting professional relationships.

To assure the integrity of the Association, NACVA members have the opportunity to direct key aspects of the organization through participation on one of our six governance boards. These boards oversee Association activity in critical areas that have the greatest impact on our members’ livelihood. Their purview also includes the formation and recommendation of policies that govern the affairs of the Association.

After the conclusion of this year’s election, we are pleased to announce the addition of our new board members who will work to maintain NACVA’s position as the leader in the business valuation and financial forensics fields.

These members volunteer their valuable time to impact the entire NACVA community and profession at large. Most of these board positions are elected by NACVA’s general membership and serve a three-year term. Our boards aim for both diversity of perspective and depth of expertise. One strength is that with staggered terms, the makeup of the boards change every year, which cultivates fresh ideas and perspectives.

We want to congratulate the following new board members and are excited to have this dynamic group of individuals join our efforts by bringing their unique talents and vast experience to the work of the Association.
