State Chapter News: National State Chapter Days and New Presidents—Fourth Quarter 2023
State Chapter News: National State Chapter Days and New Presidents
The Association has been actively engaged with our State Chapters. We successfully organized and conducted two National State Chapter Days in October and November featuring noteworthy presentations from our NACVA and the CTI’s Business Valuation and Financial Litigation Super Conference in July.
HQ collaborated with the Indiana State Chapter to coordinate their own State Chapter Day and we have facilitated the merger of the two Ohio State Chapters into a single Chapter. Also, we are delighted to announce our inaugural State Chapter Presidents Day, scheduled for January.
Please join me in welcoming new State Chapter Presidents in Minnesota and Oklahoma.

Austin Vance, JD
Oklahoma State Chapter President
Austin R. Vance is a litigator and forensic economist with the law firm Whitten Burrage in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. There, he represents clients in the Courtroom and assists others through transactions or other economic projects. His projects usually relate to tribal economic development, such as assisting the Quapaw Nation in using federal funding to reorganize its tribal courts and developing damage models for pipelines trespassing on tribal lands. Aside from tribal economic development, however, he assisted the University of Oklahoma in its transition to the Southeastern Conference and currently serves as litigation co-counsel to Continental Resources in its stock acquisition lawsuits pending in Oklahoma. Mr. Vance joined the NACVA this year and is excited about focusing further on tribal economic development and forensic economics as his trade.
