University CVA Credentialing Program
For the past two decades business valuation has ranked as one of the most lucrative accounting and finance consulting niches for the top 100 accounting firms*.
NACVA’s globally recognized Certified Valuation Analyst® (CVA®) designation is the only valuation credential accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies® (NCCA®), the accreditation body of the Institute for Credentialing Excellence™ (ICE™), and the ANSI National Accreditation Board® (ANAB®).
Through the University CVA Program, NACVA collaborates with accounting, economic, and finance MBA schools to provide a comprehensive course on how to value private business enterprises. This turn-key program is drawn from NACVA’s Core Body of Knowledge for Business Valuations and the curriculum included in the world renowned Business Valuation Certification and Training Center. By aligning this content with the university’s existing degree programs MBA students are prepared for the CVA proctored exam and experience requirements which ultimately leads toward their earning the CVA designation. Sensitive to the financial concerns of university students NACVA has drastically reduced the membership and fee requirements for achieving the CVA.
