Jennifer A. Prager, CPA, CVA, CFE, MAFF
Jennifer A. Prager specializes in financial damage analysis, forensic accounting, and business valuation with the firm of Morones Analytics, LLC in Portland, Oregon. She has specialized in these areas of expertise for nearly fourteen years, working with CPA firms in Portland, OR and San Francisco, CA.
Jennifer’s case experience includes a number of nationally known accounting investigations and litigation matters. She has analyzed complex litigation cases involving accountants’ professional liability, securities lawsuits, fraud and embezzlement, commercial contract litigation, intellectual property, “white-collar” criminal defense, anti-trust (monopoly), and employment litigation. Jennifer has provided business valuation, and economic damage calculations for companies operating in a variety of industries including high-technology, construction, healthcare, financial services, manufacturing, energy trading, agriculture, wholesale and retail sales, and personal/professional services. Her valuation engagements have included estate and gift taxation, marital dissolution, buy-sell agreements, and mergers and acquisitions. Jennifer has testified in support of her opinions.
Jennifer has been active in NACVA, serving as a Member and current Chair of the Ethics Oversight Board (EOB). As a member and Chair of the EOB, she has played an active role in updating the Ethics Oversight Board’s Policies and Procedures Manual. Jennifer has been honored to serve NACVA in this capacity and plans to continue to stay active with NACVA after her EOB term ends this June.
If Jennifer is not at work or spending time with her family, she is most likely on the soccer field. Her love of soccer continues and she stays active as a player and a coach. This June she will be heading to Canada to cheer on the U.S. women’s team in the World Cup. Go USA!!
Mark A. Felton, CPA, CFE, MBA, MAFF, CVA
Mark A. Felton is the founder of Felton Financial Forensics and Valuations, LLC. His work focuses on fraud investigations, risk assessments, internal control evaluations, and lost profit calculations. Mr. Felton has over 25 years of experience working for premier Fortune 500 companies, privately held businesses, non-profit organizations, and
government entities.
Mr. Felton is also actively involved in the field of higher education. He serves on the faculty of the Opus College of Business at the University of St. Thomas—a private catholic AACSB accredited university in St. Paul, Minnesota. He also serves as course coordinator and faculty member of the College of Management at Metropolitan State University in St. Paul, Minnesota.
Mr. Felton is a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors, Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, and National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts (NACVA). He currently serves on NACVA’s Litigation Forensics Board. He earned his BS in Business Administration from Ohio State University and earned his MBA from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Master Analyst in Financial Forensics (MAFF), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), and Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA).
He gives back to the youth in his community by serving as board member and treasurer of the Edina Football Association.
