Program Description:

Fraud is pervasive, ever-present, and evolving, but so are the solutions to curb and prevent it. Recognizing the changes that are occurring in the world of fraud and knowing how to effectively analyze and apply that knowledge can make or break a fraud risk management program.

This Fraud Risk Management Webinar offers a comprehensive understanding of fraud risk management, from identification of an organization’s fraud risk to provision of practical tools to address them. The solutions offered are applicable to entities of any size and structure, from small privately owned companies to multi-national publicly held organizations, as well as not-for-profit and governmental/regulatory enterprises. Through these Webinars, individuals will develop an in-depth understanding of an organization’s risk of financial loss and insight to practical solutions that will enable their organizations to manage these risks effectively and according to their risk appetites.

This webinar provides a review of the current business environment, where fraud risk and profit opportunities collide. It provides a look into on- and off-book fraud schemes, including signs and symptoms of potential fraudulent events requiring a response, and an additional look at the controls that can be implemented to mitigate some of these risks. The Webinars provide individuals with hands-on application of fraud risk assessment methodologies and techniques.

Topics discussed are: identification and evaluation of fraud risk factors, definition of fraud schemes that are most likely to affect an organization, development of mitigating controls, and application of the Internal Control Integrated Framework

After completing this Webinar, attendees will be able to:

  • Identify and evaluate fraud risk factors as it relates to your business
  • Select controls that mitigate the risk of fraud
  • Differentiate the characteristics and activities of an organization to develop and maintain an appropriate control environment
