What Business Valuers Need to Know About the IRS for 2021

Program Description: You will receive a high-level introduction to this topic and have the opportunity to ask questions. Mike will address valuation issues with the IRS, the impact of COVID-19 and what to expect in 2021. This session will focus on information you need as a business valuer that mediates, negotiates and facilitates alternative dispute resolution to give clients timely closure with significant savings with the IRS and others. After this session you will be able to: (1) Discuss the implications of real-world business valuation, (2) Distinguish roles of various players, (3) Differentiate when various tactics may be appropriate, and (4) Develop a plan to make appropriate recommendations to clients.
