Call for Article Opportunities—First Quarter 2018

Call for Article Opportunities
By Kirk Bowden
Marketing Manager

One of the best ways to increase your visibility with your colleagues and demonstrate your expertise in the financial consulting industry is to have an article published in one of our publications.  The National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts® (NACVA®) stands alone from other professional valuation organizations in its commitment to publishing.  NACVA is extending an opportunity for you to submit articles for consideration in two of our prestigious publications, including The Value Examiner® andQuickRead®.

These publications allow authors the opportunity to not only get published, but also to share their expertise with their peers while earning valuable CPE credit.  These articles can be a terrific way to demonstrate your skillset to clients on your curriculum vitae and increase your visibility to obtain additional new business.  The Value Examiner includes the ability for each author to distribute their article to clients, prospects, and referral sources, and receive a PDF version to post on their website.  The CPE is NACVA CPE which can be used toward recertification requirements and is accepted by many state CPE boards and accrediting organizations, although individuals should confirm if this meets those requirements.

Here’s a summary of each publication for which you might consider submitting an article:

The Value Examiner
The Value Examiner is an independent, professional development journal dedicated to the exploration of value and its ramifications for consultants.  It is the singular source of timely, technical, in-depth articles written for consultants by practitioners and academics at the top of their respective fields.  The distinguished authors bring expertise acquired from years of training and experience to bear upon topics both practical and theoretical.  Each issue of The Value Examiner contains substantive, peer-reviewed articles—the kind you will want to archive for future reference—drawn from a spectrum of consulting disciplines: business valuation, forensic litigation, mergers and acquisitions, fraud risk management, business and intellectual property damages, healthcare consulting, exit planning, and practice development.  The kind of articles that will put you—and keep you—ahead of the curve.  The Value Examiner is a nine-time winner of the prestigious APEX® Award for Publication Excellence.

QuickRead
Readers of the weekly QuickRead will come to appreciate it as a primary source for current news and information highlights in the high demand financial consulting areas, including: valuation/appraisal, case law, expert witness, financial accounting, financial forensics, healthcare, litigation consulting, taxation, practice management, and mergers and acquisitions/exit planning.  Many other areas of interest are addressed in this publication, including links to various blog sites, popular archived articles, etc.  Articles are also designed for immediate use in a consultants’ practice because of the weekly distribution.  Share your insights and mastery of the areas in which you specialize.  Contributing to the QuickRead will give you exposure to tens of thousands of professionals and place you squarely in the national spotlight as an expert in your field.  And you will become part of the prestigious and elite QuickRead team.

To learn more about submitting an article for these two publications, please visit www.NACVA.com/Article.  We welcome your articles and feedback.  As a benefit of NACVA membership, you receive access to all of our publications.  We appreciate the many members who have contributed to these publications.
