Program Description
This boot camp is an immersive, practice-driven experience designed for experts who want to stay ahead of the curve. Who Should Attend
This boot camp is designed for experts and consultants who want to elevate their technical capabilities and modernize their workflows. It is ideal for practitioners who are ready to integrate AI, automation, and advanced analytics into their daily practice to work smarter, faster, and with greater impact.
Foundational Prerequisites
Intermediate level course with a solid understanding of valuation and forensic fundamentals (accounting, finance, report writing, analytic workflows). Working proficiency with Excel, Word, Adobe, and general computer operations. Microsoft 365 with Outlook, Word, and Excel should be installed on the attendee laptop (Copilot enabled, if available) or have access to Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, or Gemini (Google users). Attendees should review the setup instructions provided in advance and have the ability to access cloud files, if needed, from your device.
AI Familiarity
Basic understanding of AI concepts and how to write prompts, along with prior use of any LLM platform at least once (ChatGPT/Copilot/Gemini). It will be beneficial if you have reviewed NACVA’s AI Advisory Brief (https://www.nacva.com/files/NACVA_AI_Advisory_Brief_2024.pdf), including issues of confidentiality, data-handling, and professional ethics considerations, and have an understanding of what can and cannot be uploaded into AI systems.
Items and Materials to Prepare for and Bring
Bring a laptop capable of running Microsoft 365 and browser-based AI tools. Ensure the device can connect to Wi-Fi, is not restricted by corporate security settings, and have either Chrome, Edge, or another modern browser updated to the latest version. Confirm login credentials for Microsoft, Google, and ChatGPT accounts before arrival. Though optional, you can bring a redacted valuation report or forensic report for hands-on exercises and a working Excel model to test automation.
