    • Program Description: We will review the market method for use with small business valuation.  Emphasis will be on selection of comparable set, evaluating comparables based on profitability charting and graphs, use of statistics, reviewing cash flow (less emphasis that other areas in one hour program), estimating the value and finally adjusting the value based on balance sheet matters as compared to estimated comparables.

    • Program Description: This session will provide an overview of some of the intricate provisions of Section 199A of the Internal Revenue Code - the Qualified Business Income (QBI) Deduction.  We will review important concepts, safe harbor for rental real estate activities, and discuss the qualifications, limitations and thresholds, qualified and specified services trades or business,  adjustments to and computations of QBI.  We will also touch on how the TCJA and 20% QBI deduction impacts business owners’ taxes and valuation as it relates to various entity structures.
