Program Description

In this webinar Excel expert David H. Ringstrom, CPA shares his secrets on how to automate Excel-based financial statements. After watching this webinar you'll no longer build out a worksheet for each month of the year, but instead use functions such as VLOOKUP, SUMIF, and OFFSET in conjunction with Excel's Data Validation feature to build easy to maintain financial statements.

David will also show how to make the reports self-maintaining by linking to data exported from an accounting package. In this webinar David teaches from Excel 2010. The techniques shown work in the same fashion in Excel 2007 and 2013, and his handouts include alternate instructions for Excel 2003 where applicable.

Learning Objectives

After completing this webinar, attendees will be able to:

- Quickly clean-up accounting data by way of Excel's Text to Columns feature
