The Nation’s Experts in Business Valuation and Financial Forensics

The Consultants’ Training Institute (CTI) is comprised of the nation’s leading experts in the fields of business valuation, litigation consulting, financial forensics, and a variety of other business consulting disciplines. As the most widely respected professional training organization, the CTI combines hundreds of years of practitioner experience with academic insights to produce benchmark training and certification programs in the consulting industry’s hottest growth niches.

Industry Experts and Program Development
The linchpin of the CTI’s leadership position is its ability to attract field-leading experts and firms to partner with in the development of courses that not only reflect the depth of their experience and expertise, but incorporate the latest developments in their field as well. Because of their ownership position with the CTI, course developers have a vested interest in delivering training that meets curriculum objectives and—most importantly—the expectations of participants. Over one-half of the courses in this catalog have been taught for more than ten years, incorporating many years of refinement. The result is unsurpassed participant satisfaction.

Hottest Growth Niches
As you may know, Business Valuation, Financial Litigation Support, and Forensics/Fraud are among the hottest niches for the CPA profession every year, according to Accounting Today magazine’s Top 100 Survey. What does this mean? These consulting niches are where the top visionaries of the CPA profession see the greatest opportunities for the future. And we at the CTI agree. If you want to make the most of your career in these niches, the CTI is most definitely the best and brightest venue to turn to for your training.

Business Valuation Certification and Training
The CTI’s greatest contribution to the valuation industry is our certification programs. Currently, the CTI offers two distinctive business valuation designations through its Business Valuation Certification and Training Center (BVTC): Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) and Accredited Valuation Analyst (AVA).

Enhanced Certified Forensic Financial Analyst (CFFA) Program
Nine years ago, the Consultants’ Training Institute introduced a third certification program through its partner, the Financial Forensics Institute, called the Certified Forensic Financial Analyst (CFFA). The Institute’s highly regarded training curriculum originally focused on the legal foundations and the strategic and communication skills required of a forensic expert and how to apply these skills in the litigation context. The CFFA program has been greatly expanded and now offers practitioners five different specialized paths, each of which can lead to the designation. In addition to the original specialty program in Financial Litigation, the CFFA credential may now be earned in the specialty areas of Forensic Accounting, Business and Intellectual Property Damages, Business Fraud Deterrence, Detection, and Investigation, and Matrimonial Litigation Support.

The CFFA designation will convey an important professional statement to your clients about your commitment and qualifications and, most importantly, through training and testing, give you added confidence to successfully pursue these disciplines in a competitive marketplace.
