The new Litigation Workshop for Bankruptcy Insolvency & Restructuring program* focuses upon the skills needed by financial professionals rendering services in this area. Topics include financial analysis of financially troubled businesses, identification of causes of insolvency, pre-bankruptcy planning, business valuation in the context of bankruptcy, fraudulent transfers, Bankruptcy Code, Chapter 7 and Chapter 11 plans, required disclosures, tax issues, case management and dealing with trustees and creditor committees. |

Upon completion of this program
attendees will be able to:
• Serve as an expert in matters of bankruptcy, insolvency and financial restructuring. • Prepare financial reports to be incorporated into required court filings. • Apply solvency tests to the financial statements of a distressed company • List the factors that distinguish a business valuation for bankruptcy purposes from other traditional business valuations. • Describe the tax issues to be addressed in connection with Chapter 7, Chapter 11 and workout matters. • Explain structural, operational and financing aspects of turnarounds.
